MAP · Motorsport Assembly Platform

Run the factory, the track and the office on one system

MAP records how every assembly was built and who signed it off, where every serialised part is fitted, how far it has run and how much life it has left. Around that sit the planning, purchasing, finance and HR your team runs on, all working from the same records.

MAP's home screen in the dark theme: the app switcher across the top, four summary tiles and a tile for each of the twelve apps plus Admin

Why MAP

One record for every part, from the factory to the garage

Build records on paper, mileage in a spreadsheet and stock in a general-purpose ERP means the same part gets typed in three times, and nobody is sure which copy is right. MAP keeps one record for each physical part, from the order that brought it in to the car it runs on.

What exactly is on this car, who built and inspected it, how far has every part run, and how much life does each part have left?

The question MAP is built to answer

The factory

Build sheets, sign-off, packing and shipping. When a build is signed off, the serials on its build sheet become the parts in Mileage Tracking, with nothing typed twice.

The track

Allocations, Run Plans, jobs at the track and mileage. Add a run's distance to a car and it reaches every part fitted on it, however deep in the assembly.

The office

Purchasing, stock, planning, finance, HR and reporting, built on the same parts, people and hours, so the cost of a build comes from the same records as the build itself.

Twelve apps

License the apps you need, add the rest when you're ready

Each app is switched on by your licence key, and every licensed user gets every app on the licence. Start with the factory floor and grow into the track and the office.

  • Factory

Build sheets, sign-off queues, packing, shipments and turnarounds.

  • Mileage Tracking

Serialised parts, car trees, mileage limits and service intervals.

  • Trackside

Jobs at the track, assemblies to fit, Run Plans and returns.

  • Allocations

Plan which build goes on which car, for every event.

  • Job List

Raise, assign and track jobs, with Part Care Notes.

  • Inventory

Stock by location, a full movement ledger and stock counts.

  • Purchase Orders

Raise, approve and receive orders against your suppliers.

  • Work Orders

Routed manufacturing and service orders, materials and time.

  • Resource Planning

Company Calendar, leave, capacity forecast and workload.

  • Reporting

Reports, dashboards and a SQL workbench over MAP's data.

  • Finance

Ledger, payables, receivables, VAT, budgets and the cost cap.

  • HR

Employment, leave balances, recruitment, training and payroll inputs.

Allocations

Drop a build on a car and its sub-assemblies follow

Plan every car for every event on one board. Allocate an assembly to a chassis and MAP places its linked sub-assemblies into their own matching slots, left and right hand respected, so the plan is complete in one move.

  • Mandatory slots stay flagged until they're filled
  • Fitting a slot moves its parts onto the car in Mileage Tracking
  • Warnings when a build won't last the events it's planned for

Resource Planning

See who has room before you hand out the work

Resource Planning puts the team's hours, leave and assigned work side by side. Give someone a job and their week fills up; when a week is over capacity, you can see it straight away and move the work to someone with room.

  • A capacity forecast from working hours, leave and the work due
  • Leave requests and approvals, and company holidays
  • A Company Calendar the whole team shares

MAP's Allocate Resource board: a gearbox rebuild dragged onto a technician puts them 3 hours over their day, then it goes to a colleague with room, the first technician is taken off it, and both people's hours rebalance

Factory

Sign-off that records who, what and when

Each assembly has a build sheet stamped from your templates. Technicians tick the steps, enter serials and answer the questions; inspectors then sign off in turn, and the person who built it can't cross-check it unless a permission allows it.

  • Cross Check, Team Leader, Service Team and Serialisation sign-off queues
  • A rebuild starts a new issue and keeps every earlier build as it was
  • Packing, shipments and a shipping manifest PDF for each load
