Website terms of use
Last updated: 5 November 2026
PLACEHOLDER: draft awaiting legal review. These terms follow standard UK practice but haven't yet been reviewed by our legal adviser and may change.
These terms apply when you use the Motorsport IT Systems website. By using the site you accept them, so please read them carefully. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Who we are
This website is run by Motorsport IT Systems Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17473117, based in London. You can contact us at enquiries@motorsport-it-systems.com.
Using our site
Our site is for businesses interested in MAP and our services. We may update or change it at any time, and we don't guarantee that it, or anything on it, will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend or withdraw all or part of the site for business or operational reasons.
Some areas of the site are for our staff only. Please don't try to reach them unless we've given you access.
Information on the site
The content on the site is general information about MAP and our services. We work to keep it accurate and up to date, but it isn't advice and you shouldn't rely on it alone when making a decision. Features described may vary between versions of MAP and depend on the apps included in your licence.
Screenshots and animations of MAP on the site are illustrations. They use made-up data and may differ in detail from the current release.
Prices and estimates
Prices on the site are in pounds sterling and exclude VAT. Package prices and the figures from our pricing estimator are indicative, to help you plan. They aren't an offer or a quotation, and no contract is formed through the site. The price you pay is the one in a written quotation from us that you accept, and a MAP licence is governed by our customer agreement, not by these terms.
Intellectual property
We, or our licensors, own the intellectual property in the site and its content, including text, graphics, screenshots and software. MAP, the Motorsport Assembly Platform, Motorsport IT Systems and their logos are ours. You may view the site and print or download extracts for your own business's internal use in considering MAP, but you must not copy, change or republish its content, or use our names or logos, without our written permission.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the site in any way that breaks the law or is fraudulent;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the site, the server it runs on, or any connected system or data;
- introduce viruses or other harmful material, or attack the site, including by a denial-of-service attack;
- send unsolicited or automated messages through our contact form; or
- copy or extract content from the site by automated means.
Breaking these rules may also be a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990, and we may report it to the relevant authorities.
Links to other websites
Where the site links to other websites, those links are for your information only. We have no control over those sites and aren't responsible for them or for any loss that may arise from using them. You may link to our home page in a way that is fair and legal, but not in a way that suggests any association with us that doesn't exist.
Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can't be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.
The site is provided for business use and free of charge. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all implied conditions, warranties and other terms that might apply to it, and we won't be liable to you for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or your reliance on its content. In particular, we won't be liable for loss of profits, sales, business or revenue, business interruption, loss of anticipated savings, loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation, or any indirect or consequential loss.
We take reasonable care to keep the site free of viruses, but we don't guarantee it. You are responsible for protecting your own devices and systems.
Your personal information
We only use your personal information as set out in our privacy policy.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last updated; please check them whenever you use the site.
Governing law
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising from them or from your use of the site, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
